Edward “Duke” Morgan

Edward “Duke” Morgan was born November 13, 1965 to Edward Morgan and the late Linda Morgan in Columbus, Ohio.

 

On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, Duke was baptized during one of his many stays at Mt. Carmel West Hospital by Pastor Hoard of United Word Ministry.

 

Duke attended East High, where he played football. He went on to working numerous job, being the hard worker he was to support his family whom he loved dearly. Duke saw the good in everyone and was always there to lend a helping hand. His warm heart and love touched all of those around him. He worked very hard to take care of anyone living under his roof. He was laid back and as cool as they come.

 

Preceeding him in death are his mother Linda C. Morgan, both sets of grandparents, his uncles Joe and Ronnie Morgan and aunt Barbara Morgan.

 

Duke leaves behind to celebrate his life long time companion Norma Smith, daughter Mikayla Morgan, sons Michael and Mathew Smith, father Edward Morgan, sisters Tracy (Morgan) Wilson and Kymberlee Morgan, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation 6:00pm  and Funeral 7:00pm Monday November 9, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
