McCurdy SHELLOW,
Alice C. McCurdy Shellow, 67. Sunrise September 03, 1943 – Sunset April 28, 2011. She is a graduate of Linden McKinley High School and former Sales Assoc. at Lazarus Downtown. Alice is a member of Glory Evangelistic Ministries where she served as Church Mother and Usher. She was preceded in death by her parents Walker and Virginia McCurdy, husband James Shellow, Sr., and brothers Ronald and Raymond McCurdy. Left to cherish her memory, sons Eugene (Kim) McCurdy, and James Jr., Andre and Shawn Shellow, daughters Tina (Karl)Thomson, Charlotte (James) McCurdy, Anita (Ray) Little, and Marvena, Cassandra, Marlena and Cadasa Shellow, brothers Albert (Betty) and Donald McCurdy, sisters Geraldine Rickman and Janet Bryant, 34 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

My heart is heavy at the new of the passing our Mrs. Shellow. She was always such a pleasant lady. I last saw your mom at the passing of a family member just a few years ago. I was surprised that she remembered me, seeing it had been so many years.
I am sure you are all very thankful for the many years that she was here. Through prayer and praise, the pain that you feel today will be transformed into peace that passes understanding. Weeping must endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Though I am heading out of town, I hope to see you at the service and express my condolences in person.
My prayers are with your entire family during this challenging time.
