Allen Brown, Jr. aka “Junior” was born on October 14, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Allen Brown and Jeanette (Woodard) Brown. He was the third of five children born to this union.

Junior was kind hearted and a very giving man. As many would say, “he was good people.” He was willing to share whatever he had with whoever had a need. He was a jokester as well; always telling some type of funny story that may have been true or just plain made up. He had this little infectious laugh that hearing it would make you laugh as well.

Although Junior had no children of his own, all the family children were special to him. They each had a special nickname given to them by Uncle Junior. He always had little “goodie bags” for them when they would leave his house. Junior also loved the family dogs. He would keep them for the weekend, spoiling them just as he did with the children.

Junior loved fishing from a little boy. He and his brother Larry would tie strings to sticks and fish in puddles until they were old enough to go fishing with our father. Then the tall fish tales would begin about the one that got away. Truthfully, our brother James could out fish Junior and Larry.

Junior is preceded in death by our parents, Allen and Jeanette Brown; brother-in-law, Kenneth Hughes; niece, TanoaNachae’ Hughes. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: sisters, Shirley (Cecil) Hughes, Latonya Locke, Debra Hughes and Natasha Brown; brothers, James Locke and Larry (Donna) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, a great-great nephew and many, many friends.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
My sincere condolences to the Brown family and those who knew and loved Allen on the loss of your dear loved one. May these words of Revelation 21:4 from our Heavenly Father Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) give you a measure of comfort and strength to endure during this time of grief and deep sorrow.
The Bible promises at Acts 24:15 of a resurrection, and John 5:28:29 gives us a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones. If you need answers to life’s big questions such as: Will suffering ever end, and Can the dead really live again? The answer is yes!

To the family of Junior, you have my deepest sympathy in your loss. When Lazarus died, Jesus told his disciples at John 11:11, that he was “traveling there to awaken him.” Jesus referred to death as a deep sleep state, in which the deceased can only be awaken through God’s power! Soon, you will be able to greet your loved one back to perfect life (Acts 24:15)! May you find comfort in God’s promises.
