REMEMBERANCE
Armeda Marie Simpson was born on August 8, 1926 to Reverend Richard Peterson and Edith Woods Peterson in Elizabethtown, Illinois. She spent her early childhood and teenage years in Madison, Wisconsin and moved to Cleveland, Ohio shortly after graduating high school. She married Robert H. Orr in 1946, who preceded her in death and was later married to Richard Simpson, who preceded her in death. Armeda attended Jayne Adams School of Nursing and received at graduation a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1958. She had a passion for nursing and patients were given the best she could provide in loving care, spiritual nourishment and material comforts. To know her was to love her. She had a pure and genuine smile, always willing to help and give honest advice to others. Armeda was a shining light every where she went, and it is a fact that she could see her good works.
She would always say how great the Lord is and her favorite song was
