Arthur E.Williams Jr. age 60 born March 26,1957. He made Heaven his eternal home on Friday January 12,2018 at the Ohio State University James Cancer Center. Arthur was a faithful member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Michael A. Dickerson of 20 years. Arthur E. Williams was blessed with many skills. After retiring from General Motors he received his culinary degree which he practiced for the Delta Kai house fraternity.  Arthur served as a diligent servant at Ebenezer, a faithful member of the Nehemiah team, Head of the Kitchen Staff, member of the Male Chorus and the Mass Choir. Arthur loved serving his Bishop, he was a Deacon and Co-President of the Bishop’s Aide Committee. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Felton Williams, Brother Scott Anthony Williams, sister, Adonnia Williams and Son Samuel Johnson. Survived by his loving and faithful wife of 28 years Teresa A.Edwards-Williams. Mother of his children Angie Williams. Sons Arthur Williams and DeJuan Edwards. Daughters, Renee Williams, Rita Williams, Lavita (Raymond) Belcher, Rochelle Crockett, Brandi (Levar) Cox. and 18.5 grandchildren. Best Friends Robert (Bob) Walker, Robert Evens, Tyron Hill and a host of God children, nieces, nephews, relatives and church family. Homegoing Celebration Friday January 19,2018 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church 4500 Refugee Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43232 Bishop Michael A. Dickerson Viewing will begin at 11 a.m  followed by the service at 12pm. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.

  8. I am very sorry to hear about my 1st Cousin’s passing! I truly had looked many years ago to find him ( after reading his obituary he was closer than I knew) … in heaven we shall reconnect.   14. I had the pleasure of knowing Art as our cook when he severed our meals at the Delta Chi Fraternity house on the campus of The Ohio State University. Everyone in our house loved Art. He was friendly, caring, and funny. As a member of our Fraternity, I speak for us all in that we are sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a great man.
