Condolences for the family of “Artis “Buster” Allen”

Condolence from Ruth Bischoff on January 29th, 2015 9:00 am

Dear Floretta and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Artis’ death and of his battle with cancer. I have such fond memories of working with him at the school. He was such a blessing to the staff and the students. We will never forget his enthusiasm in seeing that the circus went off well and his participation in tap dancing with Jacob. I can just picture him dancing in heaven now! There is nothing to slow him down now. May God bless you with peace and comfort at this time knowing that you will see him again.
Love and Blessings,
Ruth Bischoff

Although your life on earth is done
Your life in heaven has just begun.
Your struggles here were hard and long
But they’re over now, you’re finally home.

Life wasn’t easy, by choice or fate
A decision made, sometimes too late.
A fight to the finish, always strong
Rest easy Buster, you’re finally home.

Our deepest sympathy, Cookie, Jimmy, Ray and Celeste.

Condolence from Aunt Olivia on January 30th, 2015 12:01 pm

I am unable to attend the home going service due to health issues. You will be greatly missed, God has prepared a special place for you.
God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place

Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home

Condolence from Dan Foster on February 1st, 2015 9:37 am

I spent many hours sitting at basketball practice with Artis as our sons worked to hone their skills playing travel basketball. Our conversations during practice covered a wide ranging array of topics, not just basketball. I could readily tell that Artis was a gracious gentleman and a devoted father and husband.

I am sorry for your loss. May your faith help to comfort you through this time and lead you to times of happy memories.

Dan
