Brenda J. Dingess-McCoy, 63. Sunrise August 5, 1949 in Birmingham, AL and Sunset December 4, 2012 in Columbus, OH. Brenda was a graduate of East High School, received her Associates Degree from Franklin University, was a Veteran of The U.S Army Reserves and retired from State of Maryland Department of Taxation. She was preceded in death by her parents Rosa Lee and George Dingess, Sr. and sister Shirley Madison Cochran. Left to cherish her memory, husband Ralph McCoy, daughter Tonja (Kevin Jones), sons Michael Scott, Morrice (Cassandra) Scott and Mark Scott, stepdaughter Ieshia Williams, brothers George Dingess Jr. and Bobby Dingess, sisters Anna Williams, Diane Dingess Foster, Sherry Williams, Sonya Madison, and Tammy (Donell) Mallard, special family friend Crystal Collins, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

    My heart goes out to the family and friends of Brenda. I served in the Army Reserves w/ her and spent a year mobilized w/ her at Ft. Hunter Liggett, Ca. I will remember her for her warm heart, always being soft spoken and yet very stubborn. I pray she is with God now.
