CARR,
Calvin C. Carr, 87. Sunrise May 1, 1925 in Cedartown, GA and Sunset November 6, 2012 in Columbus, OH. He retired from the U.S. Navy, continued to work at UPS and the State Fairgrounds, was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Hoyt and Hattie Carr, wives Annie Bell Carr and Martha Griffin and daughters Katherine Carr and Belinda Carr. He is survived by daughters Odessa Wright, Reva Henderson and Harriet Bailey, companion Lola Bennett, 17 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
My interactive memories of Mr.Carr ( while he supervised CMHA contractual security) is of someone who always had a positive outlook on each day, and would bring laughter, encouragement, & sound advice to those around him.
May GOD continue to richly his loved ones, while remembering he is absent from his human bosy, and present with our "es;loving and merciful GOD"es;!
