Carrie Louise Cole, age 77, was born on July 2, 1932 to the union of Ralph Cooper and Mary Ann Stewart. She was the oldest of three children. She was a retired licensed practical nurse in Columbus, Ohio. She provided personal care to patients, families, and all who needed comfort. She proudly offered private duty care to the wonderful families at Wexner Heritage Village. After retirement she focused her care to her grandchildren. The morning of Sunday, October 11, 2009 she entered into eternity. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children; Karen Cole Keller, John William (Darletta) Cole, Jr and Chris (Michelle) Cole; eight grandchildren who were the light in her heart; Kristen Marie Cole, Kevin Michael Cole Keller; Danielle Elaine (Chris) Shirey, Maresa Rae Cole, Adam Ross Cole; Christopher Bryan Cole, Jr., Connor Davis Cole, and Jamie Morgan Cole; her two sisters; Arta Jean (Robert) Saunders and Gloria (Lester) Broadie; Her former husband of 35 years, John William (Rose

  14. It’s been 13 years, and my wife asked me what my grandma’s middle name was. I realized I hadn’t said it in so long; I typed in her name just to find a picture of her. I’m reminded that no matter how much time has passed, I still tear up and my voice trembles when talking about her. I love you Grandma Carrie; thank you for your years of love.
