Charles R. James Sr., age 62. Sunrise February 22, 1954 in Atmore, AL and Sunset December 2, 2016 in Columbus, OH. Charles was a member of First Church of God and retired from Pickaway County Correctional Institute.
Charles is preceded in death by beloved wife, Pamela R. James; son, Charles R. James, Jr.; sisters, Zola Mae Rease and Bessie Mae Hall; and brother, John Edward James, Sr.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories, daughters, Alysia ( Anthony) Odom and Charee (Michael) Scott; grandchildren, Anthony Odom Jr., Adaruis Odom, Navaeh Scott, and Charlie James; brothers, Willie (Loraine) James, Arthur (Sheilah) James, and Tommy James; sisters, Lizzie (Eddie) Jackson, Elizabeth James, Bonnie (Joey) Moorer, and Ann James; uncle, Johnny James; aunt, Oral James; special acknowlegement, Johnny McCorvey, Randy Triplet, Steve Sherrod , James Woods, David Taylor, William Turner, David Turner and Fred White; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday December 10, 2016 at First Church of God, 3480 Refugee Road. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
