Cheryl Ann Mundell, age 54. She was born April 4, 1963 and got her wings Thursday  July 20, 2017.

Cheryl was a good and loveable person who would keep you laughing all the time.  A few weeks before she passed, Cheryl said, ” I asked God to help me” , I Prayed to him for 6 days, then it dawned on me, I hadn’t asked for forgiveness.  So I prayed for forgiveness.  The next day, I began to feel better, breathing, among other things feeling better, all my tubes had been removed”, she said, ” I have been praising and thanking God all the time, she had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior.  Jesus is so good.  This was Cheryl’s prayer and testimony until she got her wings.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Ardell Haynes; mother, Ellen Mundell Haynes; brother, John Mundell ; nephew, John Mundell Jr. and  sister, Karen Hughes.

Cheryl leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, one daughter, Karen Mundell; two brothers, Robert (Linda) and Ardell Mundell; one sister, Tina Mundell; special friend, Leroy Pierre and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family too numerous to mention.

We mourn Cheryl because we’ll miss her and love her.  We are happy for her because she is no longer in pain, so soar on Cheryl, take your wings and fly.

Visitation 4:00 p.m. and Funeral 5:00 p.m. Wednesday August 2, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
