Other family preceding him in death are his wife, Thelma (Cook) Anderson; son, Avalieo Slate; brothers: Norman and Jerry Jenkins, Joseph and Harry D. Anderson; sister Hattie E. He is survived by wife, Lisa Anderson; children, Susan K. Wooden, Michael R. Andeson Sr., and Laverne F. Uncle Boy loved to host family events; mainly because his mother, aunt, sisters, and nieces would do all of the cooking and he loved to eat! He always volunteered to taste any and all prepared foods. After his nieces and nephews started having children, he couldn’t remember all of the names so he gave them nick names such as “The Binks” and The Tales”. He, of course, was part of both clans; he was AKA “Uncle Bink” and “Jim Tale”.

Uncle Boy loved his church; in fact, anybody spending Saturday night at his house went to church with him on Sunday morning. He was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church for 40+ years.

Clarence retired from both North American Aviation and Wonder Bread Bakery but never quit working.
