Darnell Lamar Taylor Sr., age 44. Sunrise April 24, 1971 and Sunset August 25, 2015. Darnell attended New Birth Christian Ministries. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Richard Taylor and Willa Bell Sterling, stepfather Allen Nuby, aunt Barbara Jean Taylor, stepbrother Kevin Smith and cousins Karla Taylor and Gary Lewis. Left to cherish his memory, mother Bonita Nuby, life long companion Joannie Simmons, sons Darnell L. Taylor Jr., and Xavier Jones, daughters Raquela Taylor (Johnathan) Taylor, Dorrika Simmons and Timia Taylor, brother Kahlil (Sharon) Hollins, sisters Sorrita (Strowther) Taylor, Shanda (Gregory) McGee and Lolita (Eddie) Taylor, grandchildren Promise and Legend Robinson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation 6:00pm and Funeral 7:00pm Friday September 4, 2015 at Apostolic Lighthouse Temple 2161 Lehner Rd.   Interment 10:00am Saturday at Eastlawn Cemetery. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.

To the Taylor family you have my deepest sympathies in the loss of your son, brother father and I sure Darnnell wore many different hats in the family.Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not to your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path . I know you probably dont understand Gods plan know ,but keep trusting and believing that He is with you.He’ll never leave or forsake you. I’ll be praying for you .May God Bless and keep you.
