David Lewis Hancock, age 60. Sunrise December 28, 1955 in Welch, WV and Sunset July 25, 2016 at Grant Hospital Columbus, OH. He graduated from North High School and Bliss College. David attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Virginia Hancock , brothers Herman and Melvin Ray Hancock and nephew Charlie Hancock. Left to cherish his memory, daughters Camille M. Ware and Joelle V. Hancock, brother Charlie Hancock Jr., sisters Carolyn L. Howard, Lena J. Ndiaye, Diane M. (Jimmy) Keyes, Donna M. Hancock, and Barbara Ann Graham, grandchildren, Timothy, Taniya, Maiya, and Timiya, former spouse Pamela Ware and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
11:00am Visitation and 12:00 noon Friday August 5, 2016 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
