I am saddened to hear of Richard's passing. He gave me tips on racketball at the dscc gym. Such a nice guy! I will miss him alot. May God give all of you comfort, as you go through this very painful and difficult time.
To the Martin Family, I am very sorry to hear about the lost of a dear family member, I know how difficult it is to loose someone you love. I lost my dad last year, which was very traumatic, with the Lord help; He will help you to get through this difficult period. My God Bless you through this difficult period.
Richard had a big heart and will be missed by his brothern in the USAF and the country he served so proudly. I was proud to know him and befriend him!
I'm sorry about your loss and pray that God give you strenghth durning these tough times.
Blessings,
Kimberly Day

To the Martin family, I am truly sorry about your loss, Richard was such a wonderful and careing person ,He will be truely missed. My Prayers are with you all.
I CAN TRULY SAY THAT WE ALL HAVE LOST A WONDERFUL FRIEND IN RICHARD,GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN IT WAS TRULY AN HONOR TO KNOW AND TALK WITH.I ALSO SERVED IN THE MILITARY WITH RICHARD,AND WILL NEVER FORGET THAT SMILE.THE FAMILY HAS TRULY LOST A FATHER,SON,GRANDFATHER,UNCLE,AND ABOVE ALL A GREAT INDIVIDUAL.
I did not know Deacon Martin, but I think my late husband Joe did. Joe's Sister called me about Richard, she remembered Richard coming the day of Joe's funeral. They talked for a while, but Richard did not stay long, because he had another funeral to attend. Richard said him and Joe worked out in Karate together. Joe owned The Recording Workshop here in Chillicothe, and was a Recording Artist, wrote many songs. I would like to know if Richard ever mentioned about knowing Joe? I wish I could of talked with Richard when he came to Joe's funeral, back in Feb.22, 2008, (Joe was 60). I would like to know when him and Joe met each other? Did any of you ever live in Chillicothe? I am so very sorry about your loss. Richard was too young, and from this picture a very distinguish, nice looking man. May God comfort you all during the days ahead. It is tuff to to loose a love one, and to be so young. I know I have had a hard time, along with my two Sons. Joe and I loss our youngest Son at age 23 back in 1999. Joe never got over loosing David. God is our comforter, and without Him we can not make it in this world. My Prayers for you all. God Bless!
