Della E. Ward, 71. Sunrise September 8, 1942 in Kimball, WV and Sunset February 21, 2014 in Columbus, OH. Della was a retired school bus driver working for Franklin County for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Ward, fathers’ John Ramsey and George Morris Peoples, mother Pearl Edwards Peoples, brother Morris Peoples, sister Louvenia Eaves, aunt Louisa White, grandson Jermaine Montreal Ward and great granddaughter Shanya Danielle Wallace. She leaves to mourn her home going, sisters Mary Mosley, and Wazetta Cunningham, brothers Jody Edwards and Kent George Peoples, sons Deon, Elwood (Roslyn) and Michael (Katrice), daughters Donzetta, Rita (Danny), Wanda (Lenny), Brenda (Cecil) and Bonita (Freddy), 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, two devoted sisters in law Sharlene (Lorenzo) Johnson, and Rudy Ward, brother in law Oliver (Emma Jean) Ward Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and treasured friends. A special thank you to her Jehovah’s Family and Riverside Hospital and Marlan J. Gary Funeral Home for the care given to our loved one.
