Donald Taylor, 49. Sunrise June 12, 1961 – Sunset April 24, 2011. Husband, Father, Son and Brother. He was born in Lexington, KY, and graduated from Tates Creek High School. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Donald was a Corrections Officer at Warren Correctional Institute. He was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Taylor and grandmother Lucy Harris. Left to cherish his memory, wife Deana Marie Taylor, father Joseph (Doretha) Taylor, Sr., daughters De’Ira Taylor, Teade Tagaloa, and Courtney Taylor, son Donald J. Taylor, sisters Faye (Vincent) Mosby and Jaquita Taylor, brothers Joe L. (Willie Mae) Taylor, Jr., and twin Ronald (Sylvia) Taylor, grandson Aden Nelson, aunt Linda Spearman and host of other relatives and friends.

  5. My Condolences to the entire Taylor family, I had not seen Donnie in years and thank God I got to see him last summer in Lexington at the Roots and Heritage festival. It was so good to laugh and talk with him again. He was such a wonderful person, who kept me laughing all the time. I remember all the crazy times laughing with Donnie, Rollo and Joe at Western.
