RIP, my dear friend. I will miss our talks. I will miss watching “Judge” shows with you . Thank you for loving me. Thank you for raising, Karl, to be the man he is today. Thank you for being grandfather and great grandfather to all of my children. Even though they biologically weren’t yours,,, you loved them as your own. I will never, ever forget you. I love you!!!! Fly High!!!! If you see my mom,,, say Hi!!!

  2. Jaynee Alkire :

I worked with Eddie. He was so pleasant and helpful as I was learning to be a letter carrier and I often would find myself confiding in him. After Eddie retired, I would sometimes see him visiting Mr. Smith on my route. I found it amazing that twenty-some years after telling him something, he would see me and ask me about some of those things. He always made my day happier. He was a joyous and wonderful, dear person. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

  3. Frieda Jones & Barbara Morton :
