Condolence from Karen DeCoux on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

Dear Mrs. Roddy and Family,

I pray God console all of you at every grieving moment. While no one can replace your Spouse and Father, I believe his life and legacy served and rejuvenated our community and enriched the lives of countless others, like myself. As a child growing up in Southfield, I loved and greatly admired your family. For me, your family epitomized all the admirable character traits embodied in “family”. I could easily envision a photo of the smiling Roddy clan in the dictionary under the word “family”. I am no longer a child and no longer live in Southfield, yet my thoughts and feelings of your family have never wavered – I cherish and hold dear the memories that had such a profound effect on my life.

Please know that I give thanks to the Lord for blessing my life with the Roddy family. I may be wrong, but I sincerely believe Mr. Roddy’s greatest contribution and legacy is his wonderful family – PLEASE PRESS ON.

With Compassion,

Karen DeCoux
