Evangelist Eugenia Harris Donaldson was born July 2, 1939 to the union of Hillard Harris and Elizabeth (Sawyer) Harris in Vaughn Mississippi. Eugenia accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at a very early age and became a member of Bell Chapel M.B. Church. Eugenia attended High School in Vaughn Mississippi.

Eugenia (Jean) was united in holy wedlock to Bishop Raoul Donaldson for 21 years who preceded her in death. He was the Pastor of Spiritual Harvest Church in Toledo, Ohio. For many years Eugenia “Jean” did what she loved to do: singing, ministering, worshipping, praying and evangelizing. She loved spending time with her family and her great grandchildren. Eugenia “Jean” had a smile that would light up the room.

Eugenia “Jean” was preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Birdie Willis, Beulah Owens, Valerie Jackson Gertrude Lake and brother, Homer Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved daughter, Carolyn A. Harris; grandson, Pastor Lawrence S. (Barbara Lynn) Witherspoon his wife; stepson, Brent (Cynthia) Donaldson; stepdaughter, Sabrina (Aaron) Mitchell; great grandchildren, Xander, Peyton and Braylen Witherspoon; step grandchildren, Brandon Donaldson, Tameka Bridges (Javier) and Tiffany Kelso; beloved God-daughter, Kathy Tatum; God-Child, Katelyn Tatum; God-sons, Rodney Miller and David Mclean,  special sister-in-law, Betty Ann Harper and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Christ Community (formerly Independent Missionary Church of God In Christ)  2249 E. 5th Avenue

Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017.

  15. I know that’s she is alright now but it’s hard when u start seeing all the saints that had such a big part of your raising !! I’ve learned to cherish them a little more and be thankful that God put such God fearing people in my life. She was the only one that I know that had straight out church at her wedding!! and I loved every minute of it. Praying for comfort for the family!!
