Frank Denby departed this earthly life on July 24, 2016 after a brief illness surrounded by family.

Frank was born February 1, 1938 in foster, Alabama to Jack and Francis Denby, who preceded him in death.

Frank served in the National Guard for two years. After his honorable discharge, frank returned to Columbus, Ohio where he was employed at General Motor’s. He also worked for Dove building services, where he retired. Frank was a carpenter by trade.

Frank enjoyed fishing and meeting his friend at the local McDonald’s. Frank was associated with the American Legion, Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Ladressa Johnson, Willa Mae Reynolds, brothers Joshua, Thomas, and Robert Denby.

Frank Leaves to cherish his memory devoted wife Margaret Denby, Daughters Carla (John) King, Cheryl (Sebastian) Foster, Romett, Trina Johnson, Nuroma Maddix, Sons, Franklin Denby, Rick Denby, Don (Cathy) Denby, Romero Denby Step daughters Michelle (James) Davis, Brenda (Lorenzo) Wallace, Shirley Collins, Step-sons Phillip Woods, Darrell Woods, Tony (Gloria) woods, David Woods, Steven woods, and a host of grandchildren and great- grand children and nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation 10am and Funeral 11am Tuesday August 2, 2016 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
