Gloria J. Jackson, born on July 8, 1953 in Laurel, Mississippi on a hot summer day her entrance wasn't dramatic, but her presence was always commanding. She went Home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mary L. Jackson Williamson of Laurel, MS and JR Ramson of Los Angeles, CA.

Gloria attended Morning Star Baptist Church, accepting Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was an Golden Girl at R.H. Watkins High School. Upon her arrival in Columbus, Ohio in 1988 she later united with So Help Me God Church Of Christ becoming a faithful member and served as an usher until her illness prevented her from all activity.

She enjoyed loving and spoiling her grandchildren, attending church, shopping at her favorite stores, and making Easter/Gift Basket.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary L. Jackson Williamson, grandmother Mattie L. Williams, sister Johnnie Ruth Atkins, brother Gregory J. Jackson, nephew Terrance "Judo" Williamson, and brother in law Albert Craft.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children Tracy Jackson, Bobby Jackson (Heavy),Erica Jackson (Bumb), son in law Brandon Turns, Cortney Jackson and Kimberly Jackson, one sister Cynthia Craft, one brother Reginald (Fly) Williamson, two aunts Helen Jackson and Creola Hosey, one uncle Thomas Williams, nine wonderful grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friendsMother Lindsey, Pamela Smith, Stephanie Ross, Sister McGee, Annie Ross, Uncle Bill and Aunt LindaKay.
