HORSLEY,
Gwendolyn Jean Horsley, 62. Sunrise April 20, 1948 – Sunset March 24, 2011. She was a Graduate of Central High School, received her Masters Degree at The Ohio State University and graduated from The Gospel Lighthouse School of Ministry. Gwen grew up in Hebrew Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ and she is currently a member of Rhema Christian Center where she served with Intercessory Prayer, Alter Worker, and New Members Ministries and she sang with United Inspirational Quire Inc and Anderson and Mary Horsley Singers. She was employed at the Columbus Board of Education Department of Transportation. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents Anderson Horsley, Sr., and Mary K. Horsley, brothers Anderson Jr. and Donald and Ronald Horsley and grandparents Rev. William and Charity Horsley and Bishop Fred and Ora Childs. Left to cherish her memory, sisters Elizabeth Anne Horsley, Evangelist Mary Louise Horsley-Rivers, Cara Leigh Shabaz, and Margaret Ann Fitz Hugh , brothers Elder Marvin (Sonjia) Mitchell, Herbert (Connie) Mitchell and Mark Nunley and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephews, great niece and friends.
May the lord look down upon her friends an family at this difficult time.Give them strength to carry on.May the memories of Gwen stay forever in the hearts that love her.
