James Bond Jr. 55, Sunrise Jan. 14th, 1961 and Sunset Sept. 17th, 2016. James was born in Brownsville, Tennessee to the late James Brown and Pearline Bond.

James attended Mansfield City Schools and worked for the Salvation Army in Cincinnati, Ohio as a box truck driver. James also ran a small business hauling rubbish around Mansfield, Ohio. He was the primary care giver of his mother Pearline when she fell ill.

He loved music and enjoyed attending church where he played the drums for the choir in San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Pearline, grandparents Callie Bell Bond and Theodore Bond, Lura and Palmer Brown, brother Wilbur Currie

Left to cherish his memory, his beautiful 10-year old daughter Branda Christina Bond, of San Antonio, TX, His daughters mother Brandy Bailey of Cincinnati, Ohio Cassidy Bailey and Princess Bond of Cincinnati,Ohio and his very special friend Clara Bell (Mama), of San Antonio, TX. His godson, Charles Dears (Jessica). Four god-grandchildren Destini, Raven (Rocco), Dayrion Hernandez, Niyasia Harris, and Dynasia Burley all of San Antonio, Texas

His sisters Mary Bond (Mike) of Seville, OH, Ella Bond of San Antonio, TX, Pearlie Bond, of Mansfield, OH, Ora Chrissy Bond-Wooster (Douglas) of Durham, NC; Brothers, Rev. Bob Bond(Stella) of Mansfield, OH; Rev. Bruce Bond (Rhonda) of Mansfield, OH; His special niece Carmella Bond-Weeks (Maurice) of Seville, Nephew Robert Bond, of San Antonio, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of you loss. May Jesus’ words regarding the resurrection found in John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 bring comfort to you. Soon God will eliminate death, Revelations chapter 21 verses 3 and 4. And we will finally be able to enjoy life the way it was intended on an earthly paradise. Psalm 37 verse 29. May these scriptures bring comfort, hope and encouragement to you.
