James (Jimmy.com Jones) Jones, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 22, 1947.
Jim gave his life to the Lord at an early age at the Saint John Baptist Church – St. Clair Avenue, Columbus Ohio.
Jim is preceded in death by grandparents Relus and Willa Mae Evans; parents Ralph and Ann Lou Jones; brother Ralph (Carolyn) Jones, Steven Jones.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Donna Jones; Ora Jones, loving earthly mother, four siblings, Priscilla (Samuel) Wilson, Brenda (Phillip) Harris, Michelle (Rick) Jackson, Michael (Linda) Jones and three children, James Jones Jr., Tanisha (Rodney) Badgett, Tasha Milton, Sloan McGraw, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Marlan Gary Funeral Home, 5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
I was sadden to hear about the loss of our dear brother. No more suffering and no more pain, to be absent from the body is to present with the Lord. There is no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal. So keep your head up and hold on to God’s unchanging hand. Praying for your strength doing your time of grief. Be BLESS and remember Jesus loves you.
