John Henry McDougald Jr., was born to John Henry McDougald Sr. And Pearl McDougald on July 27, 1954, in Newark New Jersey.

John was employed at the Kroger Market Place in Pickerington for the past eight years. He was well known for his handyman work and being a master on the barbeque grill. You could catch him after work grilling for his many grandchildren while watching his beloved Buckeyes or Cleveland Browns.

The Lord called this grill master home on January 21, 2015. He is preceded in death by his Father John H. McDougald Sr., mother Pearl McDougald and brother-in-law James Diggs.

He is survived by his loving wife Diana McDougald, mother-in-law Alee Williams, sisters-in-law Mannie Harden, and Karen Diggs and brother-in-law Gary Diggs, brother Romeo Bryant (Butch), children Furquan McDougald, Terrence (Frances) McDougald, Raushaun McDougald and Denzel (Destiny) McDougald, grandchildren La’Niya Anderson, Dezjuan McDougald, Shariff McDougald, Tanajah Backner, Malachi McDougald, Terrence E. McDougald, Xavier Mc Dougald, Jazzmena Jefferson, Anthony Tirado, Armani McDougald, Raushaun McDougald Jr., Jazarah McDougald, Nautica McDougald, China McDougald, Jordynn McDougald, and Journee McDougald, aunt Dorothy M. Foster and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

    I was graced to meet my cousin John Henry three times. He was kind and soft spirited.     Denzel and family; I just learned that your Father passed. I was saddened to hear of your loss and would have attended the service if I had known. Unfortunately, although neighbors I never had the privilege of meeting your Dad, but I would occasionally wave when I would see him or blow my horn. You and your family were very fortunate to have him as long as you did. My prayers are with you, your Mom and your entire family.
