John Henry White, Jr., age 76, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2015. He passed away peacefully at Grant Medical Center. John was born on March 1, 1939 in Welch, Virginia to John Henry Sr. and Juanita White.
John accepted Christ at an early age. He retired from AT&T after a lengthy employment history. John enjoyed working on cars, gardening and fishing.
John is preceded in death by Parents John Sr. and Juanita White and Brother Booker Cooper.
John leaves to cherish his memories: his loving, devoted, wife, friend, and companion of 36 years Patricia A. Sowell; and a host of other relatives & friends.
Visitation 10am and Funeral Service 11am, Monday, August 10, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
