Brother Kenneth Jerone Menefee was born on April 21, 1979, to Richard and Vanessa M. Green. He was born in National City, California and during his early childhood he lived in Shreveport, Louisiana. His family moved to Columbus, Ohio when Kenneth entered middle school. He attended Linden McKinley High School where he played football for the Panthers.
During adolescence and young adulthood, Kenneth was an active member of Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church when his family settled in Columbus. He loved and supported his family and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a teenager. He worked hard at taking care of his daughter and being the best father that he knew to be to her and is extremely proud of her
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clodia Shepherd and aunt Leticia Shepherd. He leaves to look forward to in Christ one daughter, Mackenzie Blakely; parents Richard and Vanessa M. Green; brother Cyrano L. (Janalisa) Menefee and twin brother Richard C. Menefee and one niece, a host of nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a grandfather.
Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Thursday January 22, 2015 at New Journey Christian Ministries 1763 Cleveland Ave.

My prayers and condolences to your family. We, the twins and I, went to Linden McKinley together. They are truly the highlight of my memories of Linden McKinley. RIP Kenneth.
My heart goes out to Ms Vanessa and family, God knows best.. He’s at peace now and waking on the arrival of his family and friends to meet on that beautiful shore.. Kenny is now singing with the Angels .. Rejoice Kenny for you are home at love , I love you….

Our deepest sympathy go out to you and your family during this time. I am just sorry that I didn’t get a chance to know my nephew well. Please know that my heart goes out to you. He is resting in GOD’s arms now and smiling down on all of us.

I am so sorry for the loss of twin Kenneth Menefee. He was always smiling and would make anyones day brighter. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
