Condolence Messages

  1. Krystal was not big in stature but her smile, personality, and heart was bigger than any person could fill. She always spoke honestly and with love. She was my girl; I’m glad she will now be looking down on us from heaven.

  2. My condolences to the family. May the Lord be with you and strengthen you during this time. I will miss her deeply. I will miss her smile, laugh and positive outlook on life. I will miss her laughing at my singing when trying to sing with her! She encouraged me and prayed with me when I was down. She was my friend. I will miss her. Love you Krystal rest in peace my sister.

  3. Dear Odom Family,
Krystal was a wonderful person who brought so much joy to the workplace. She would do anything she could to help others. She will be sorely missed. May your fond memories of her bring your comfort.

  4. I know that Krystal received her angel wings. She did God’s work everyday as she helped the lowly. She is an inspiration, I see her in my minds eye everyday, everywhere. She sits at the table with the All-Knowing and can touch lives even more now. Love you forever Krystal. See you soon my friend.

  5. There is no replacement for you Krystal, the way you treat others is the way that half of us wish that we could treat one another half the time. I will never forget how bad I was feeling, when you and Ms. Elaine happened by my desk, the encouragement and support you offered was just you being you and lifted my spirits. When I think of you, I will remember you as an “Angel” that touched my life. I will truly miss your smile and the kind words you spoke “all” of the time. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you, thank you for all the love, support and encouragement you gave me, love always, Scheriee.

  6. To the family of Krystal Odom, I offer my sincere prayers and condolences during this time of bereavement. She will truly be missed. Krystal was such a fun and loving person with a true servants heart. I frequently refer to her as “The Hidden Treasure.”

    Be Blessed!

  7. I have had the pleasure working with Krystal for a number of years here at FCCS, and will miss her. Krystal was a wonderful person, talented, and loving, and I know that you and your family have suffered a great loss. Our agency at FCCS has as well, as she was good with our families and clients that we serve.

I will always remember Krystal and feel very fortunate to have known her.

    God Bless,

  8. Krystal

The angels looked down from heaven one night
    They searched for miles afar,
    And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.

    They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven
    Forever to remain.

Look down on us from heaven
Keep us free from hurt and pain,
You’ll always be within my heart
    Until we meet again.

  9. I met Krystal 26 years ago when she started her career at Franklin County Children Services. Krystal was a caring and hard working person. However, for me, as my husband has grown more ill, Krystal always asked about him, always offered her help with him and always asked how I was doing. Her steadfast desire to help others was always present in her spirit. No matter how much or little, Krystal was always ready and willing to assist. When I last saw her Friday evening as she was leaving the building, she asked why I had missed the food and she had put a plate back for me. She said she and I would have to get together to do something special. I told her to just let me know when. I had no idea she would leave to go to the special place before me. Krystal was special and she is/will be missed by many.

  10. My prayers for you and your family extend beyond today but for a lifetime. That GOD will comfort you all. Cherish the good times and memories. Krystal was a very loving and caring person who spoke straight from the heart. Krystal was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved to feed her friends and those she cared for. Ms. Krystal will truly be missed.

    God bless.

  26. You always keep me on my toes. My fond memories of you has been working together during Black History Month for many years. Once you told me, while we were working on a project, ” your one of us”.You had incredible ideas. One of the best two, I can remember was when school children came to 525 to sing to the staff and the last one was, when a full pledge Gospel chores came to intake and blow off the roof.
You, young lady in so many ways, got me interested in Black history and culture. I hold you dear to my heart. My respect, my love and my memories of you and our work shall embrass me forever until we meet again.

May enteral light shine upon you.

  34. Dear Odom family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Krystal. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
