LaVonne Moore was born May 11, 1938 to Lucille and John Bivens. LaVonne departed this earthly life on September 10, 2017 at the age of 79.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her father, John Bivens; siblings, Frances Bivens, Beverly Peck, Calvin Bivens, Ronald Bivens, and Victor Bivens.
LaVonne leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Lucille Bivens; daughters, Tara (Frankie) Williams and Vicky (Benjamin) Whitehead; sons, Robert (Shawn) Moore Jr and Lionel Moore; sisters, Charlene Harrell, Angie Bivens, and Pamela Bivens; brothers, Michael Bivens, Bobby Bivens, William Bivens, and Ricky Bivens; 18 grand children, 35 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation 10:00am Funeral 11:00am Friday September 15, 2017 at Mt. Nebo, 2100 Aberdeen Ave.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
To the family of LaVonne, you have my condolences in your loss. When someone you love dies, it is like losing an irreplaceable rare-precious jewel. God knows how you feel because he had to endure the pain of His son’s agonizing death. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” May you rely on God’s promise that LaVonne will live again!
So sorry to hear of the loss of LaVonne. Worked with her at the brewery and she was such a sweet person. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
