Lena Custer, 79. Sunrise October 03, 1930 – Sunset May 16, 2010. Born in Uniontown, AL to the late William and Mattie Croom. Retired from OSU Medical Center and a member of Triedstone Baptist Church for over 40 years. Along with her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband Frank Custer Sr., children Frank Custer Jr., Tyrone Custer, Sidney Custer and Dolores Brisker and 7 siblings. Left to cherish her memory, daughters Willie Mae Brown, Bernice Winlock, and Deborah Custer-Page, son Alfreeman (Belinda)Custer, sister Elvira Hunter, brother Ernest (Ernestine) Croom, dauther in law Sharon Custer Bridges, 26 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. freeman, patrice, and all other family members, Mrs. Custer was one of the finest women that I had the pleasure of knowing. she was gentle when need be, but would also let you know when she was not pleased with you! I'm gonna miss her sitting on that front porch! My heart goes out to all of you… mrs c, rest in peace.
