The life and legacy of Linda Joyce Davis began on July 30,1955 in Columbus, Ohio. Linda lived and was educated in Columbus. Linda loved the lord, life and people. Linda gave her Savior a personal commitment through baptism at the young age of 16. Linda kept that commitment all of her life, she truly the lord and Savior. Linda loved spending time with her family, she and her niece and namesake Brenda Joyce Hughes loved going to the movies and shopping together.
Linda suffered from the disease of MS while here on earth. Now she is made whole dancing and signing with the lord. Linda will pass through the gates to greet her father Bennie F. Davis and mother Ona Mae Davis. Also waiting for Linda to join them are her two brothers Nathaniel and Robert Davis. They are now celebrating as a family in heaven.
Linda leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving sister Roberta L. Hughes, Nieces Brenda Joyce Hughes, and Renita Banks nephew Eric Davis, along with a host of other family and friends.
Linda leaves her smile, good humor, and love for all to be shared and remembered. No tears necessary a celebration of life, love and laughter will be Linda’s Legacy. Linda has gone home and will see you all soon.

Dear Davis family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Linda. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
