Condolence Messages

  1. Bishop Edward E. Shouse, Sr.

To the family of Marvin D. Smith,

Circumstances beyond my control prevent me from personally being with you at this time of bereavement, however, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart was saddened when I learned of Brother Smith’s passing.

I remember him as he grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio. A fine young man, always courteous to me, so sorry to see him leave us.

To the family, be of good courage as best as you can, continue to reflex on the good times spent with Marvin, I am sure of this one thing, the Lord will give you strength to go on, and as it is said, “…Earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal…” To me, that is more than just a saying, it is a fact.

Be blessed and I shall remember you all in my thoughts and prayers,

    Sincerely,

Bishop Edward E. and Lady Rose Marie Shouse and family….

  2. John Weaver and Mark Stansbury

Our thoughts are with Lonie and the entire Smith family in their time of bereavement. We’re so sorry for your loss.
