Michael R. Gayness, 55, of Hillsboro, passed away September 4, 2008 at OSU Medical Center.

He was born on March 11, 1953 to Otto and Marey Deskins Gaynes in Tazwell, Va.

Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survived by wife Sandra Gayness and a host of family and friends.
