Myra Nadean (Sullivan)LeFlore entered this life on March 30,1962 in East Chicago, IL. She was the oldest child of four, born to the late Dorothy A. Sullivan, and Arthur Peterson. In the afternoon of December 14, 2012, she slipped quietly and peacefully into the arms of her awaiting Savior.
On August 07, 1993, she was united in holy matrimony to Victor L. LeFlore in Jackson, Mississippi.
Myra Graduated from Horacemann High School in 1980, and later went on to complete training at Heritage College located in Columbus, Ohio were she received her degree in Hospital and Health Management Services. Myra applied her knowledge and skills in various service professions. At the time of her passing, she was employed at Enlightened, Inc. where she served in the position of supervisor. Myra enjoyed her work and was known to family and friends as a “work a holic”.
To cherish her memories she leaves behind a host of family and friends, all of whom share sacred times and memorable moments. Her forever smile, helping as well as” heavy” hand, and unselfish giving have left and indelible mark on the minds and in the hearts of all who knew her. Myra cared about others and some of her strongest points were her love and loyalty to her husband, children and family. She enjoyed life, laughter, music and cooking. She was looked to as the “Matriarch” of her family. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Victor L. LeFlore, (2) sons, Gregory E. Glenn, II of Gary, IN; Kenron(Crystal) Glenn of Jackson, MS; her father, Arthur Peterson of Gary, IN;(1) brother, Brian D. Dudley of Denver, CO; (2) sisters, Tameka L. Dudley of Benton harbor, MI; and Kimyatta Dudley of Denver, CO. (4) grandchildren, Gregory E Glenn, III and Ashlynn S. Glenn both of Gary, IN and Christian K. Clanton and Abbie N. Glenn both of Jackson, MS.; her mother and father n law, Rosemary and Joe B. LeFlore, Sr, both of Carthage, MS.; (2) sister-n-laws, Carolyn A. LeFlore of Jackson, MS., and Shelia LeFlore(Deon) Payne of Smyrna, Ga., and (2) brother-n-laws, Joe B. LeFlore, Jr. of Mendenhall, MS.; James E.(Linda) LeFlore of Moreno Valley, Calif.
