Ollie M. Redd, was born February 7, 1930 in Winsboro South Carolina and departed this life on March 16, 2017 in Columbus Ohio.

Mother Redd was a former member of Eliezer Church of Christ and Bibleway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. She is currently a member of Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ where she was a much respected and revered Mother of the church and Missionary.

Mother Redd is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Dickerson, mother, Annabelle Dickerson, brother Earl Simpson, husband Edward S. Redd, Sr., children Bernita J. (Redd) Durham, Edward S. Redd, Jr., Deborah A.(Redd) Pierce, Gregory L. Redd, and son-in-law, Thomas E. Pierce II.

She is survived by her son, Bishop James W. Redd (Haji) and daughter, Brenda (Redd) Tucker, brother Bruce Dickerson, sisters Doris Whitmore and Resa Pyles, grandchildren John A. Durham, Thomas II (Ta’Sha), Marcus, Tamara, Michael (Achea), Michelle, David, her great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Home Going Service 11:00am, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ 250 Napoleon Ave.  Interment at  Union Cemetery
