Pastor Gary Michael Penn, Sr., 53. Sunrise July 14, 1957 – Sunset May 13, 2011. Pastor Penn was born in Columbus, attended South High School, graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School and Franklin University. He pastored the Committed to the Word Church, a member of the Columbus Ministerial Alliance, former member of the Mt. Calvary Association and retiree of Delphi a division of General Motors. Pastor Penn was preceded in death by his parents Pauline and Thomas O. Penn, Sr. and brother David Penn. Left to cherish his memory, wife Frances Penn, children Gary M. (Delilah) Penn, Carlotta (Ani Mwalimu) Penn, Janis (Christopher Jr.) Bond, Benitez Goff, Kynetha Spanks, and Demetrius, Diache and Dante Thomas, brother Thomas O. (Connie) Penn, Jr., sister Robin M. (Wayne) Oliver , 7 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
