The Obituary
Ralph A. Scott, born February 28, 1943, departed on December 5, 2008.
He was a recent employee of AEP as a cook.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Joseph and Katherine Sowell; brothers Warren and Laurence Scott; grandparents John and Ruth Nash; and grandmother Bertha Scott.
He leaves to cherish his memory sons Alexander Vinson and Andra Ervin; grandchildren Tiausha Vance, and Andra and Kiera Ervin; sisgters Patricia (John H. Jr.,) White; Lois Sowell and Phyllis Sowell; brothers John (Theodessa) Scott, Joseph (Deborah) Sowell, Louis (Pamela) Sowell, Arthur Sowell and Alfred Sowell; aunts Dorothy and Brenda Sowell and Ozella Council of Decatur, Georgia; Uncle Richard (Jackie) Sowell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ralph will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him; but mostly by those who had the privilege of loving him.

I never got to meet you and once I started the quest to find you, you were already gone. I want you to know that I grew up with my loving family, my mother (Angela) and a man that I consider my father and treats me as his very own daughter. I would’ve loved to meet you though and see the similarities between us. Until we meet. Rest in peace.
