Our condolences to the Burney family. We are so sorry for your loss. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:8, “We are confident and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” For the brief period that we’ve known Pastor he exemplified the characteristics of Christian faith, charity, and love. I am so sorry for your loss. Oather was a great person. I went to Kent State with him, he taught me (many of us) how to drive a bus. He gave me a beautiful Stetson hat. I came across this last week and thought to look him up. I was so sorry to hear he passed away. I worked at the VA hospital in Dayton and am also sorry I missed the opportunity to visit him.
