Robert Adams was born January 16, 1950 and passed away July 11, 2016.
Robert, also known as Stretch, was a gentle giant standing at 6 feet 6 inches tall. He was always ready to help others, offer sound advice and kept a smile on his face all the time.
Robert always had time for family and never turned his back to a stranger. One of Roberts many loves included all types of electronics like tablets, video games and movies. He was always aware of the latest and greatest items of entertainment.
Robert will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of know him. He will be especially missed by those who had not only the pleasure of loving him; but being loved by him.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Faynell Adams, siblings, John Lee Weathersby, Annette Adams, Ardell Adams, Patricia Adams, and Janet Adams. Left to cherish his memory, wife, E. Mae Adams; sons, Robert Adams Jr and Charles Adams; daughters, Laquada Johnson and Kirstyn (Brandon) Johnson; brothers LR.Z Sherman Adams M.D., Steven Adams, sisters, Mary Frances Vance, Sharon (Alfred) Smith, and Delores (Nathan) Appleby; 8 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 11am Funeral 12pm Monday July 18, 2016 at Faith Ministries Church, 2747 Agler Road. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
