Roland Thomas Tyler, age 62. Sunrise March 23, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA and Sunset June 19, 2014 in Columbus, OH. Roland earned his Masters Degree in Counselor Education, LSW, CCDC III with Clinical Endorsement and was a Licensed Marriage Counselor. He was a member of Groove Phi Groove Fraternity, owned Roland Clothing-Tyler Productions LLC, and was a Mental Health Manager at Columbus Area Inc. Roland was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Tyler and Juanita Williams, sister Lavonia Stillwell, brother James Dixon Moore, and grandchildren Isaiah McCarrel and Taron McCarrel. Left to cherish his memory, wife of 24 years Janet R. Tyler, son Rondalle (Nicole) McCarrel, sister Mary Louise Benton, brothers Aaron L. (Mildred) Tyler and Lenwood D. (Lynnelle) Tyler, grandchildren Ramal, Janecia, Rondale Jr., Gregory, Christian, Daleron, Janell, and Sir-Nicholas and a host of other family and friends.
