Ron Thompson, 61. Sunrise December 4, 1954 and Sunset February 8, 2016. Ron was a 1972 graduate of Linden McKinley High School and formerly employed as a painting contractor doing what he enjoyed. He was preceded in death by his parents James Herman Thompson Sr. and Gertrude Bishop Thompson, brothers Larry Thompson and Glenn Thompson, and wife Linda Singleton Thompson. Left to cherish his memory, daughters Makia (Evan) Carr and Lanita Singleton, grandchildren Robert Crowe III and Juanita Jones, brothers James Herman Thompson, Jr. and Stanley (Janel) Thompson, sisters JoAnne Thompson and Mary (Mack) Shannon, nieces and nephews Tasshia, Sherod, Shawn, Santanna, Tywann, Cameron, Asia, Lamar, Chaz, Sequalla, Joshua, Troy, Marcus, Tara, Jonele, Tiffany and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation 2pm Funeral 3pm Saturday February 13, 2016 at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
