Rondel Marquise Valentine, age twenty-two years, departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at Grant Hospital. He was born November 6, 1992, to Merci Valentine and Robert Robinson. Rondel (“Poohder”) was an inspiration to all who knew him. Rondel was educated by the Ohio Department of Education. Rondel was baptized at The Christ Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Sunday school, vacation bible school, and children’s church on a regular basis. Rondel is welcomed home by his grandmother Norma Mayes and Uncle Victor Coles. Left to cherish his memory is, his mother, Merci Valentine(Fiance, Derek Talbert): father Robert (Boseda) Robinson; grandfather George Lee Mayes; grandmother Evelyn Clark; sisters, Marquita Robinson, Shaquila Robinson, and Mariya Robinson, , brother: Robert Robinson III., nephew Mason Bitting; aunts Brandy Mayes and Melanie Valentine; uncles: Tyrone Coles, Tony Valentine and Roy Valentine: Godson Thomas Seals III and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation 10am and Funeral 11am Friday August 21, 2015 at New Covenant Believers Church 3400 Khor Blvd. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.

  5. It’s been 7 years to the date exactly…. The pain still haunts us like the day we received that horrific call. Even though your looking down and seeing how crazy everything is now, I just wish you could be here to witness Mason and Bobs games. I wish you could be on the sideline rooting them on to their many victories. Every tackle, touchdown and yard they are doing it for you and I know you are guiding them through it every bit of the way. I just wish you had left your mom someone to continue your legacy but the boys will be there loving her unconditionally and giving her everything you dreamed of her receiving. Although we can see you physically this isn’t bye for us just a long time until I see you again!
