WASHINGTON,
Samuel R. “Buddy” Washington, 78. Sunrise October 13, 1931 – Sunset October 5, 2010. He was baptized at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church under the late George W. Arnold. Buddy was a graduate of East High School, U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War and former employee of Timpken. He was preceded in death by his parents Rafe M. and Mattie L. Washington, brothers General Walter Washington and Juanito Ricardo Washington, and sister Lillian L. Washington Hopkins. Left to cherish his memory, brothers Ruben M. Washington, Bishop Donald J. (Lady Shirlean) Washington, and Kevin T. Washington, sisters Sadonia Sanders, Shirley G. Washington Archie, Edna M. Rivers, Rosea M. Crowder and Regina A. (William) Eiland and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bishop Washington, Lady Shirlean and the Wasington family. My deepest sympathy in the passing of your brother. His struggle is over and he is with our father. I pray that God will comfort you and strengthen you during this difficult time.
