Sara Bell Butcher, age 80. Sunrise April 12, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO and Sunset June 11, 2015 at OSU Medical Center Columbus, OH. Sara was a Surgical Tech at OSU Medical Center and a member of Praise Temple Communtiy Church where she served as Church Mother. She was preceded in death by her parents Agnes and Sherman Tahl, and brother Philip Tahl. Left to cherish her memory, son Richard Dale (Dianne) Butcher, daughters Dorothy M. Winston, sister Carol (Darrel) Barksdale, grandchildren Philip, Marlon, James, Richard, Kortney, Karllata, Nina, Sarai, and Casea, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, Godson Don(Kim) Walters and a host of other family and friends. Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Praise Temple Community Church 2618 Bethesda Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
So sorry to hear of Sara’s passing. Sara was a great & gracious lady. Sara & I occasionally worked together @ OSU surgery. With deepest sympathy.
