MARTIN,
Sarah Ann Martin, 73. Sunrise August 6, 1937 – Sunset March 19, 2011. She was born in Jones, AL to the late Jack and Essie Mae Elder. Sarah attended Union Tabernacle Church of God, and was a retired Nurses Aide at St. Anns Hospital. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Lee Martin, daughters Delisa and Paula Pearson, sister Ida Mae Chapel, brother R.C. Elder and grandson Gregory Stewart. Left to cherish her memory, sons Robert J. Pearson and Anthony J. Pearson, daughter Belinda G. Pearson, Frances B. (Norman) McCullough, Shelia Frazier, Phyllis L. Pearson, Pamela D. Pearson, Pauline D. Pearson and Monica Taylor, sister Lula Mae Walton, 29 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

I am glad to have known such a wonderful woman. Very sweet and caring. To the family I hope you will find comfort in knowing that she is resting now. No more suffering. She is in the best hands now! Our prayers are with the family.

I met Ms. Martin about 6 years ago. We would sit on the porch for hours talking about our children and just general chat. Ms. Martin I will miss you and your sweet smile. Thank God for the opportunity to talk and laugh with Ms. Martin. May God bless her family.
