Sheila Diane Smith, age 59. Sunrise May 2, 1956 in Bluefield, WV and Sunset September 3, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Sheila was a 1974 graduate of Bluefield Senior High School and attended Bluefield State University. She was a Unit Clerk Associate at The Ohio State University Medical Center and a Charter Member of Kingdom Power Baptist Church where she served with the Gatekeepers. Left to cherish her memory, mother Joan I. Ferguson, daughters Shameikia I. Smith and Nichelle M. Logan, brothers Wayne T. Smith, David L. (Sharon) Smith, and Charles R. (Tonia) Ferguson, granddaughter Bree-An Shanel Smith and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday September 5, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. , Columbus, OH.
Shameikia, Chell, and Bree and Family,, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, daughter and sister. Ms. Sheila, was very special to all of us. But she was truly a very special part of your lives. May God comfort and strengthen you through these times and the days ahead. Know that we are here for you and just a phone call away. Love you much!
You have my deepest sympathy, Shameikia, Nichelle, Little Bree, Mother Joan, Juanita, the Brother’s and the entire Smith and Logan Family of Sheila, I will miss seeing her in Church on Sunday mornings as we talked before church started.
