Shevonne Shavette Clark was born a twin on October 26, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio to Maxine and Paul Clark. The Lord called her Home on March 16, 2015. Shevonne was the 7th child of both her parents. Shevonee truly loved her family and was loyal and devoted to them. She attended Brookhaven Highs School and furthered her education in Business Management at Columbus Sate Community College. Shevonne was a devoted mother and wife to her children and husband.

 

Shevonne gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Triedstone Baptist Church where she attended with her grandfather the late Deacon Peter Clark. She was a true child of God.  

 

Shevonne was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Peter Clark and Lilygrace Whiting and maternal grandparents Cornelius and Mary Louise White as well as her father Paul Clark, brother Sherri Lee Clark, uncle Cornelius White and cousin Carrie Ann Dennis.

 

Shevonne leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband Billy Sumling, children Billy Sumling Jr. (Daryia), Ricky (Dominique) Sumling, Mercedes (Chavis) Wallace, Patrick Sumling (Shermel), mother Maxine Clark (stepfather Rozelle Butler Sr.), sisters and brothers Juanita, Anthony, Cynthia, Connie, Tom, Debbie, Shade, Christopher, Sandra, her twin Yvonne, and Cherry, step brothers and sister Patricia, Bernice, Valerie, Rozell Jr., Tammy, and Crystal, 9 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Tuesday March 24, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.  Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
