I may not have known all of his children or met them, I know that he has a legency that will shine eternally. To his boys, Damon, Shawn, Derrick and Erik, he will forever be with you because he has a special place in your heart. A father is the backbone of the family and he has proven to be that. As men y’all have to continue to show strength and courage for your children because you are now the backbones to your families. Tina I know you are a strong woman and you have raised two beautiful children that Stan was proud if. We share blood through your son and I will forever be grateful for this. Erik, thank you for my grandbabies, as you know I love all of them. So in saying my last goodbye to your father, I know GOD is watching over everyone and He will supply.

To the family and friends of Stanton Cordell, Sr., you don’t know me, however, I wanted to take this opportunity to offer my deepest condolences to each of you.
The death of a love one can bring all of us much pain and sorrow. May the words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 be of comfort to you, it says, “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”
