    Dear O’Bannon Family,

I was sorry to hear of Teira’s passing this morning. May I share what a remarkable young woman she was. Our lives crossed each other’s in the evening when I would work late here at Girl Scouts. We would spend a few minutes talking. She was always up beat and kind. I noticed what a hard worker she was and had an opportunity to share this with her company.

My life has been enriched because of her.

I am sorry for your unspeakable loss of a child. Please know though she made a difference while she was with us.

May the Father bring you comfort

    Sincerely,
    Cindi

  4. To the family and friends of Teira, you have my deepest sympathy in your loss. Death is a difficult situation to face especially when a young person dies prematurely. God’s word tells us at 1 Corinthians 15:22, “For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.” May you rely on God’s promises to get you through this difficult period.

  5. May God send you peace and understanding during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry for your family’s many losses!

I only recently found out about Teira’s cousin, Kimiko’s passing in 2012. I was looking for Kimiko’s obituary and the internet gave me Teira’s.

I knew Kimiko when she was a child and I sometimes worked at a school she went to. She was such a charming, feisty little thing who made me laugh, and it broke my heart to learn she passed away so young. I always hoped she would be able to go forward and have a good life.

One wonders why any one family has to go through so much. You have my belated yet heart-felt condolences on your loss of both of these two cousins.
